Our Early Intervention Program is targeted towards aggressive management of medical treatment from the moment the claim is received.

When necessary we immediately involve an experienced Early Intervention Registered Nurse to work in partnership with the medical provider to establish and verify medical protocols, set expectations as well as a proactive plan for return to work.

The injured worker, employer and file handler are partners in this process and work together toward the eventual goal of recovery and return to work.

The Early Intervention Nurse is responsible for:

• Guiding the injured worker through the medical process. Ensuring the care is effective, necessary and return to work oriented.
• Interceding to get the most optimum follow-up appointments with medical providers.
• Ensuring a smooth transition to work by communicating with the appropriate parties. Medical Bill Auditing
• Coordination with the file handler to provide timely authorization of related diagnostic testing and therapies
• Getting the injured worker back to work as soon as medically feasible.
